The new location! 
As a result of our weeks of research, knocking doors at real estate offices and developments around the city of Guangzhou, in August of 2003 we got a phone call from Clifford Estates Sales where they were launching a new sub condo inside their large village. At that point Clifford was high on our list due to their environment and infrastructure. But we just did not like what they had available for sale before, some too expensive for our budget, others 6 floors high without elevator. The new development was called Horizon. We looked and liked it. And we took the plunge and purchased one unit there. 
Horizon lays on the South East corner of the village. It is a circle of 12 high buildings with 18 floors each. In middle of the circle is a large garden with a man made lake, under which is the car parking garage. As Clifford caters to Cantonese there's no building number 4 and no floor 4 or 14 either. We are at building 7 which is the 6th building counting from the right, and floors 19 and 20 (actually 17 and 18) as the top floors are duplexes. The place have a Club House by the main gate, between buildings 1 and 13, with a swimming pool, a gym, and some entertainment, as well as a convenience store opened 24/7, and a little restaurant also serving take outs.
